Abstract
With the advent of exercise programs as a major form of musculoskeletal and cardiovascular conditioning, related injuries, including stress fractures, are an increasingly common problem. Most stress fractures of the fibula have been located distally, and have occurred in traditional sports such as hockey, football, baseball, running, and tennis. We report a case of a proximal fibular stress fracture that was diagnosed in a patient who presented with knee pain after aerobic exercise. Verf.-Referat
