Abstract
Thanks to isokinetic tests made on 20 players, physicians have estimated the possible effects of knee orthesis on muscular and articular performances. Both healthy athletes and football players suffering from pains in the joints and in the leg extensor musculature have undergone these tests; the tests have been made on athletes having two different kinds of knee orthesis and without knee-guard. Thanks to these tests we have realized orthesis have lasting effects especially in those athletes suffering from myo-articular pains. Verf.-Referat
