Abstract
CT is of sensible meaning for diagnosis, primarily in the anterior knee pain, where the clinical examination could be difficult and not always diagnostic. CT is particularly useful in the study and follow-up of patients with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, in all cases in which an arthroscopy is not necessary or to give precise suggestion to arthroscopy itself; in addition it has the practical advantage not to interfere in athletic training or performance.
