Abstract
The authors report a case of entrapment syndrome in a young cyclist. This syndrome is caused by the compression of the popliteal vessel as a result of a congenital anomaly. The use of the noninvasive technique is important because the haemodynamic data obtained by Dopplers velocimetry and the morphological data obtained by Echography A/R B-Mode makes it possible to get to a diagnosis. Surgical exploration is the only means to treat any organic anatomical entrapment. Verf.-Referat
