Abstract
A case of mitral valve prolapse in a young volleyball player with repetitive and bimorphic aberrant (right and left bundle branch block morphology) premature beats during effort, is presented. Bicycle ergometer stress test with transesophageal recordings clarified the atrial origin of the premature beats, allowing a permissive attitude toward competitive sport participation. The safety of this method in the evaluation of complex arrhythmias induced by effort is remarked. Verf.-Referat
