Abstract
The complete role of the myotendinous junction is discussed in this article. The morphology and function of the junction, typical injuries occurring at this region, delayed-onset muscle soreness, and muscle strain injury are described. Muscle strain injury is covered in detail, including characterization, treatment, and prevention.
