Abstract

The two cases described offer some considerations to the authors concerning the anatomy and the physiopathology of the suprascapular nerve. The neuropathy of the suprascapular nerve following an indirect trauma has the characteristic of being painful at the beginning and then a lack of strength. After a precise anamnesis, the hyposthenia of the supraspinatus headed by a false sign of Jobe, that of the subspinatus muscle by a sign of Patte, are factors which, when associated with a careful consideration of the differential diagnosis, permit specialists to suspect this pathology and to request a specific examination to confirm that suspicion.
