Abstract
The authors present medium and short term results of 178 isolated arthroscopic meniscectomies. Surgical and postoperative complications were absolutely rare and surgical management allowed a speedy patient social recovery (20 days average), one day hospitalization and early renewal of sport activity (40 days average). Femoro-tibial and patellofemoral chondropathy and associated anterior cruciate ligament injury got worse results. In our experience medium-term results were unchanged compared with the short term ones (85 of good results). Verf.-Referat
