Abstract
Avulsion of the pectoralis major tendon is a rare injury, with only about 20 cases reported in the literature. We report a case of partial avulsion of the pectoralis major tendon. Cybexc isokinetic muscle testing, computed tomography, and ultrasonography were used in the diagnosis and are correlated with the operative findings. Direct repair was performed 1 year after injury, and then the patient began a good rehabilitation program. An excellent result was obtained and is clearly shown by the Cybex II muscle results.
