Abstract

The glenohumeral joint is a complex articulation with little inherent stability, capable of significant rotations. The capsulo-ligamentous structures play a critical static role in maintaining joint stability. Various components have been identified both anatomically and functionally, with their contributions varying depending on joint position and the direction of applied forces. Verf.-Referat
