Abstract
We studied the influences of two benzodiazepines (triazolam 0,25 mg and flunitrazepam 2 mg) on the isokinetic and isometric force and on the cardiovascular parameters after a standard period of sleep. We used a randomised and double blind test procedure. We found that triazolam had no significant influence on neither of the test conditions. Flunitrazepam showed significant lower values on the isometric force and on the cardiovascular parameters. We can conclude that triazolam will not influence performance and will not influence physiotherapeutic treatment. On the other hand, flunitrazepam does influence a number of strength characteristics and cardiovascular parameters in effort situations. Verf.-Referat
