Abstract
A rehabilitation program designed specifically for arthroscopic meniscal repair is presented. The guidelines, concepts, and exercises represent a synthesis of the available information regarding rehabilitation after arthroscopic meniscal repair with or without anterior cruciate ligament injury or surgery. The three month regimen is composed of five phases and includes a controlled period of protective, immobilization and specific range of motion, strengthening, and motivational exercises using the SPORT CORD-tm. The slow and gradual return is necessary to allow healing of the sutured meniscus. Verf.-Referat
