Abstract
When an athlete sustains an auricular hematoma, the traditional collodion-cotton cast can be reinforced with a swimmers nose clip to exert continuous pressure. This treatment prevents hematoma reaccumulation, and when the athlete also wears protective headgear, there is no disruption in the athletes practice or competition schedule. Verf.-Referat
