Abstract
A case history of a young man who suffered from Osgoods-Schlatters condition of the right knee at the age of ten. A significant enlargement of the right tibial tubercle remained since. Recently a fall on the knee resulted in a rupture of the posterior cruciate ligament. The considerable exostosis must have played a prominent role in conveying the forces which actually led to the disruption of the posterior cruciate ligament. The mechanism of injury is discussed and a comparison is made with the recent literature about this subject. Verf.-Referat
