Abstract
Entrapment neuropathies in the athletes foot and ankle may be overlooked because of their dynamic nature. Although the diagnosis depends on the characteristic history and physical examination, supplementary studies including roentgenograms, electrodiagnostic tests, and nerve blocks can be helpful. Usually, response to conservative treatment is complete, but in recalcitrant cases, neurologic decompression is required. Twelve new cases are presented to demonstrate principles of evaluation and management. Verf.-Referat
