Abstract
The brachial plexus is susceptible to injury during athletic activity. Accurate diagnosis of injuries will permit close monitoring of recovery, enabling athletes to return to sports at an appropriate time. Adjunctive evaluation, including radiographs and electrophysiologic testing, may be necessary to obtain an exact diagnosis. The natural history of a variety of plexus problems is discussed.
