Abstract
Rehabilitation of the injured athletes throwingg shoulder can present tghe orthopedic surgeon or physical therapist treating these individuals with a considerable challenge. At times the injured shoulder, particularly in baseball, is subjected to inadequate rehabilitation and the player is occasionally returned to throwing before adequate rehabilitation is complete. Without proper rehabilitation, minor injuries can progress into more debilitating problems. Rehabilitation of the injured athletes throwing shoulder begins with making the proper diagnosis and is divided into seven phases, which are presented in this article. Verf.-Referat
