Abstract

Trypsin inhibitor in urine (UTI) appears to be a marker differentiating the training load implemented in different metabolic zones. The antitrypsin activity and creatinine concentration in urine of 4 athletes 16-19 years of age preparing for 400 m run and performing training mesocycles during 5 months were assayed. During mesocycles it was found that training in the aerobic zone at the beginning of training macrocycle provides significant increases of UTI levels in competitors. However in following months the increases were smaller or even decreases were observed. Training with high intensity (lactate zone) had different effects on UTI level. Significant increase at the beeginning of a training macrocycle was even greater in following months. Verf.-Referat
