Abstract
Rehabilitation of the injured knee is in the process of change. A review of new basic science information is given and a rationale for clinical guidelines is described. The benefits of controlled ranges of motion in the immediate postoperative or postinjury period include better collagen healing, cartilage nutrition, and muscle strengthening. Verf.-Referat
