Abstract
Various forefoot injuries, such as stress fracture, disorders of hallux sesamoid, and Mortons metatarsalgia, are reported in athletes. We present a rare case of osteoid osteoma occurring in the fifth metatarsal of a young kendo (Japanese fencing) player who was treated initially for a stress fracture. Verf.-Referat
