Abstract
Generally, athletic injuries are more sports-specific than sex-specific. Nevertheless, there are some injuries that occur with a slightly greater frequency in one sex than the other. The particular problems discussed in this article include overuse syndromes of the knee and other conditions of the knee, shoulder, ankle, and foot. Stress fractures are also considered. Verf.-Referat
