Abstract
Studies were made of the effects of a single dose of Tavegyl (1 mg) on eye-hand co-ordination, divisibility of visual attention, and simple and alternative reaction times. A group of 10 healthy men, 35-40 years of age, was investigated. Examinations were performed twice: with application of a placebo and with administration of the drug. Tavegyl was found not to influence the level of performance of relatively complex tasks requiring psychomotor efficiency. On the other hand, the use of the drug caused prolongation of the time of simple reaction to visual stimuli. Verf.-Referat
