Abstract
The occurence of a painful simphysis pubis in nearly all sport specialties athletes, is often actually observed. The Author, on the basis of clinical and radiological data concerning top level athletes, proposes a classification more suitable, respect to the terms used in past time, to the clinical reality of the lesion.
