Abstract
The authors have tested 13 athletes using the Middlesex Hospital Questionnaire, the S.T.A.I. X1, S.T.I. X2 and a questionnaire elaborated for that purpose. The athletes were participating in the 3rd Italian Windsurf Tour and they have been tested as to draw their features. The studied area are: anxiety, phobia, obsession, somatization, depression and hysteria. From the analysis of the results it comes out that for most of the windsurfers, ability is within the limits, if referred to the sportsmen. Therefore it is possible to come to the conclusion that the champion examined has a good ability to manage with anxiety and to join the group. Verf.-Referat
