Abstract
In tennis the upper limb is the most stressed: the biomechanical study of the shoulder by Roentgen-cinematography and electromiography permits differentiating the function according to the main athletic movements. The study of six sample muscles led to an outlining of the typical movements and to the understanding of the biomechanical stresses present in each phase of the game. From this is derived the therapeutical indication or better still preventive approach to avoiding possible stress-caused articular diseases. Verf.-Referat
