Abstract
Stress fractures of the foot are common in the metatarsal bone; however, those of the promaximal phalanx of the great toe are rare. We report three cases of stress fracture of the proximal phalanx of the great toe, which were seen in a sprinter, a Kendo (Japanese fencing) player, and a rugby football player. Verf.-Referat
