Abstract
Local anesthetic block of trigger points has been performed in 20 athletes affected by various kind of pain syndromes. Positive results were obtained in 75; in particular, best results were obtained in the treatment of muscular contractures, periostosis and post-distorsive pain syndromes. In these latter cases, the therapeutic effectiveness of the treatment was significantly higher than in the other considered pathologies. Verf.-Referat
