Abstract des Autors

Major lateral postural asymmetries that develop during the growth period usually prevent young people from participating in certain sports. Minor asymmetries, however, are rarely recognized unless pain or stress indicates a problem. In this study 440 knee injuries associated with minor lateral asymmetries were measured, evaluated, and treated. Knee injuries occurred most often in the short leg (77.5). Only 21.4 occurred in the long leg, and 1.1 occured at the sacral base level. Verf.-Referat
