Abstract
Cheerleaders, like hurdlers, jumpers, and runners, are prone to avulsion of ischial tuberosity due to pulling of the hamstring and adductor muscles of the thigh. However, other injuries may be related to this activity as well. Multiple ganglion cysts associated with perforations of the triangular fibrocartilages of both wrists in this young cheerleader is a new observation and to our knowledge has not been previously reported.
