Abstract
In the analysis of the kinetics of two falls at different speeds, features peculiar to the mechanism of static and dynamic release of the automatic binding unit of the heel may be demonstrated. By the analysis of the course of the movement, the high danger for typical ski lesions has been evidenced only statistically in the static fall, i.e. in the fall occurring at a low speed.
