Abstract
Complete recovery of the use of his hand is extremely important for a sportsman. If muscular, osteoarticular or capsuloligamentous damage persists, it causes considerable anxiety and can affect his return to competitive sport. In fact, quite tolerable functional limitations for the general public cannot be neglected in sportsmen. Therefore we agree with those authors who affirm that rehabilitation must accompany orthopaedic treatment and that immobilization must be kept to the minimum. We feel it is important to prevent osteoarticular and muscular atrophy as well as oedemas. We therefore stress the importance of hydrokinesitherapy, active mobilization and electromyographic bio-feedback. Verf.-Referat
