Abstract
A connection can be shown between inconspicuous sports injuries and contact thermography. An objective picture can be built up for the purposes of both basic diagnosis, and follow-up in cases where swelling, impairment of function, and pathological radiological symptoms are absent. Damage to the achilles tendon, elbow injuries; various muscle haemorrhages, and Chopart joint sprains are arbitrarily listed under this heading. The first two are examined in the present paper.
