Abstract
Acute capsuloligamentous lesions of the lateral compartment of the ankle are discussed, and the view is expressed that their surgical management is sound practice in serious cases, especially in young athletes. A follow-up compari- son with similar injuries treated non-invasively substantiated the validity ofthis approach. Verf.-Referat
