Abstract des Autors
Because bra design may influence the breast discomfort experienced by female athletes, we studied whether there is a difference in support provided by selected bras, the normal acceptable range of breast movement for comfort, and the effects of binding the breasts over a bra in jogging. There was a significant difference in the linear displacement of the eight sports bras, but not between the size groups. The mass of the breast in conjunction with the velocity of movement may be related to discomfort while jogging, and binding over a bra prevents from 44 to 45 of the movement. Verf.-Referat
