Abstract
Our aim is to keep the runner running by marking every effort to arrive at a specific and correct diagnosis and treat conservatively. If this fails, we attempt at the least extensive surgery possible to keep the athlete participating. In some cases this is not feasible, and a runner is forced to give up the pleasures of running and find an activity that puts less stress on this delicately balanced joint. Verf.-Referat
