Abstract
Certain aspects of subcutaneous lesions of the quadriceps tendon are analysed in the light of a series of 11 surgically treated athletes. Quantification of results obtained shows that the lesion is particularly serious in sportsmen. In agreement with the literature, it would appear that the recovery of athletes for sport at their previous levels is a long-drawn-out and often incomplete process. Verf.-Referat
