Athletes who collapse after exercise should be examined for the pathognomic features of exercise-induced anaphylaxis: urticaria and angioedema. They are absent in vasodepressor and other forms of exercise-related syncope. Epinephrine is the mainstay of effective emergency treatment for exerciseinduced anaphylaxis. Verf.-Referat
