Abstract
Scales are developed to measure aggression, conflict, competence, competition and cooperation as sport motivations. The constructs are measured by five item self report scales which are modelled after previously successful measures of mood states. Test and item statistics, reliability and stability coefficients and construct validation data are reported. Two uses for the measures are suggested. One is in furthering the study of sport motivations in groups and the other is in encouraging mutual understanding and insight among those actively engaged in sport and its organization. Verf.-Referat
