Abstract
First of all the author makes few preliminary historical, physiologic-pathological and clinical statements. Then, he says that a proper nutrition - according to the most modern rules of the new nutritional science in cooperation with sports medicine - allows safer performances to those who practise underwater activities. Besides, it is also a factor of prevention, therapy and defence of the organism, submitted as it is to such exacting risks. Verf.-Referat
