Abstract des Autors
Review of 9,000 ECGs shows interesting conduction phenomena and some structural changes, but predominately repolarization pattern that may be called abnormal by the electrocardiographer who does not know the age, ethnic group, occupation or types of changes that occur in the electrocardiogram of the professional athlete. Further studies of the high school, college, and professional football players will be necessary and interesting for assessing ECG changes in later years and correlating longevity. Verf.-Referat
