Abstract
The following parameters were evaluated in five groups of 10 children born in the first quarter of the years 1964-1968 to obtain a degree of uniformity over a period marked by rapid auxological growth: 1. weight, age and sex; 2. registered age; 3. biological age on the basis of metacarpal, wrist and elbow ossifications as shown by three radiographic projections; 4. lung volumes (VC, MEVS, MEVS/VC x 100, MMV, VC/MMV x 100); 5. alactacid anaerobic power. A multiple statistical correlation was performed to assess the relation between cardiorespiratory performance and biological age. Verf.-Referat
