Abstract
Skiing injury research at the University of california has focused on the measurement and analysis of the total force transmitted to the leg by the ski during skiing, on the development of static and dynamic laboratory tests for evaluation of ski binding designs, and on the formulation of theoretical models of the ski-binding-leg dynamical system for analysis of binding design properties.
