Abstract
Forty-four patients, affected with variously localized acute or subacute microtraumas consequent to a soccer sport activity, were subjected to an oral treatment with Fentiazac given at daily dosage levels ranging between 200 and 400 mg. A rapid and almost complete resolution was observed of the symptoms related with the inflammatory process and the tissue lesions; as a consequence, the times required for the athletes functional recovery could be markedly reduced. The tolerability of the drug proved much more satisfactory than that shown by analogous preparations. Verf.-Referat
