Abstract
The management of baseball elbow injuries, both operative and nonoperative, was usually successful, permitting continued high-level athletic participation. Surgery was particularly effective in those cases with loose bodies. In the shoulder, symptoms occurred in the anterior and posterior regions. Each area presented difficulties in accurate diagnosis. The management of anterior symptoms was primarily nonoperative, surgery being reserved as a salvage procedure. In the posterior capsular syndrome, the source of pain is still unclear. Verf.-Referat
