Abstract
The example of the leg-stroke in crawl is used to explain the possibilities of a theoretical analysis of movement as opposed to experimental-statistic research. A simplified model conception of the leg-stroke in crawl is introduced for this purpose. From this model conception two criteria can be found which explain when the swimmer will not be propelled any longer by his leg-stroke can be deduced. Verf.-Referat
