Abstract

This investigation is based on the primary importance of momentary experiences for the regulation of one's actions. The object of this investigation is the demand made on the individual in four different situations ("neutral", 100-m-, 400-m-, 1500-m-event). It has been dealt with by means of a graded method which has been conceived theoretically and analytically. The finding of the data is based on a rotation plan including four factors and tested on 30 physical education students. According to the particular conditions of the investigation no structural differences in the demands made on the individuals arise from the four situations. But there are some significant, graded differences as to the decline in the individual's capability and readiness to act. Hardly any decline can be perceived in the "neutral" Situation. There is a noticeable decline, however, in the 100-m- and 1500-m-event. It reaches its relative nadir after the 400-m-event. Verf.-Referat
